Re: “UPDATED: What the Hell Happened in the Arizona Primary Yesterday?

The real problem was the lack of voting areas. The lines were long, but don't make our two hour wait for nothing by re-voting. We made the time and got in line early. The lines were long because there were so many uninformed independents trying to vote. Every independent in line wasted 15-30 minutes of the time arguing and wanting a provisional vote. The voting volunteers spent a lot of time trying to find them in the system and then had to explain provisional voting doesn't count in this type of republican or democrat poll.

My husband mysteriously was changed from republican to undecided for some reason so I understand the pain of waiting. Be informed next time. If we knew his voting card preference was Ineligible to vote in this democrat and republican only election due to his card error, we wouldn't have stayed in line. It's information people lacked not voter fraud. Have someone in line next time answering questions and checking voting cards. Lines would shorten and problems cease.

Basically if it's not your election and you didn't designate your democrats or republican status by the deadline, stay home as your not qualified to vote. Don't be mad at the qualified to vote remark as your voting card must say rep or dem for this election, if it doesn't stay home. If you don't want lines, then register for early voting ballots. If you have an early ballot then mail it in or walk to front of line and drop it off. If your a registered independent, stay home until it's your turn to have your vote counted in the real presidential election.

Educate yourself and the required voting requirements and don't cry foul when it doesn't go your way.
