Chef Steve Shultz is back at it. This time he's taken over a former drive-in, cranked up the grill and added a healthy dose of garlic to his small but interesting menu. Starters range from yummy grilled garlic shrimp in a rich beurre blanc to a Gilroy garlic cheese fondue. There is plenty of seafood on the menu—all done nicely. Steaks and pasta are available as well an an assortment of poultry dishes. Lunch includes the requisite burger. Desserts are few. Casual, reasonably priced and totally Steve Shultz, this tiny spot has plenty of fans. (3-21-13)
