Warren Miller's Children of Winter

This documentary by Warren Miller Entertainment, about the lives of world-class skiers and snowboarders, offers some pros and cons. The panoramic views of mountain tops are breathtaking, and the death-defying moves by the talented athletes are jaw-dropping. The cinematic feat of filming in nine countries and the masterful editing are impressive. However, the narration is lame; Jason Biggs’ cameo is annoyingly unnecessary; and the eclectic soundtrack is distracting at times. If you’re not really into extreme winter sports, you may find it hard to sit through all 104 minutes.

Warren Miller's Children of Winter is not showing in any theaters in the area.
