Walk of Unity
A walk along a choice of 1 and 2 mile routes begins at 7 a.m., and at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, on the north bank of the Rillito River where it intersects Campbell Avenue; $9, $5 for youth, free for a fundraising walk. Walkers return to the ballroom of the Windmill Suites in St. Philip's Plaza for food, beverages and entertainment. The event is hosted by the Desert Rose Baha'i Institute to benefit United-Way-supported youth programs that promote unity. Visit walkofunitytucson.fundmonkey.com to register and for more information.
