Children age 6 to 12 participate in hands-on activities that illustrate the daily lives of the ancient Hohokam who inhabited what's now a ruin in the park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 12. Free. Activities include making pottery artifacts, grinding corn, learning traditional Native American games and observing demonstrations of traditional Native pottery-making and arrowhead-making skills.
