Re: “Koch Brothers Emerge (a Little) From the Shadows, Part 2: Connecting Some "Education Reform"/Privatization Dots

One only needs to pay attention to how kids communicate with one another; and even how their parents communicate with them to understand that we have created a totally disengaged society where all of our information comes from social media; even our relationship platforms. The Koch Brothers and their sycophants are merely hitching their wagons to a medium where actual thought and innovation has been eschewed for immediate gratification. I fear we are quickly becoming a country where it will be increasingly easy to manipulate people with the agendas of the super rich and where our children and grandchildren will increasingly become pawns in however the kleptocrats which to maneuver them. All these groups mentioned are merely the seedlings of mass brain washing. The good news, if there is any good news; is that the Kochs will eventually be gone with many of their comrades who have subscribed to the stealing of thoughts, emotions, compassion, and all the other qualities that used to make us whole and good human beings.

Re: “Flake? McCain? What Is Your Healthcare Line In the Sand?

Neither of these guys will vote against the party line. Why? Because the right wing billionaires led by Charles and David Koch bought and paid for their loyalty. The Koch Brothers also have McSally and many of the other Republican rank and file aparchniks in their pant pockets throughout the Stateand throughout the Country. Until people realize that every single Republican television commercial and every single Republican vote is driven, not by the people, but by the payoffs from the radical right, there is no such thing as a "conscience". Given the personal needs of their cadillac health care plans and their pensions for when they retire.........there is no other defining reason to vote their so called "conscience". The general population needs to turn off their television sets and get into the streets and take a stand against the "whores" in Congress who vote for our demise as a democratic Country. The only thing these people understand is a United front against their greed.

Re: “AP: McSally Urges Colleagues To Vote for This 'Fucking Thing,' aka Zombie Trumpcare

Let's get a few things straight. This was not a HEALTH BILL. This was purely a tax cut for the bloodsuckers of this Country who are already filthy rich and never seem to be satisfied with what they have. A $350 Billion tax cut that leaves the most vulnerable people in this society at risk of no or inadequate health care. What kind of "CHRISTIAN" or "JEW" that has any moral compass whatsoever is o.k. with taking away health care from children, from the elderly, from the sickest people in this Country in order to buy more shit that they donl;t need. I hope, that if there is a God that they somehow choke on their greed. As for McSally; she's nothing but a whore for the Koch Brothers who have financed each of her campaigns. Here's my question for you Martha. You claim to have been a pilot and officer in the air force. Tell me something. What is it that you think the purpose of an Army is for our Country? Is it something that exists in order to fuck over the very people you are supposed to "PROTECT"? If its possible to have any emotion at all for you and your ilk in the Republican Party...this morning you ought to feel SHAME above all other feelings.

Re: “Will Hispanics Help Elect Hillary in Arizona? 'Nah,' Said Jan Brewer, 'They don’t get out and vote.’

This neanderthal woman was elected by people who are either in their graves or are wearing their depends now. I mean look at her. She looks like someone from another planet; certainly from another century. Its hard to take someone from "yesteryear" very seriously except to say that what she represents and stands for is something that brings out the worst in human nature.I just isn she'd walk off the stage already. She had her moment! She wasted it.

Re: “Ducey 'Next Step' Watch: Day 1

I can't wait for our children and grandchildren grow up and have the opportunity to read some of the crap their parents and grandparents thought to leave them in columns like this. Hey bonehead, our kids are entitled to the same opportunities for a good education as we had. To see people fight liver who can withhold the most amount of money from their future, which is their birthright, shows what a truly shortsighted, selfish, and downright stupid generation we are. It also shows that when we were growing up many of us didn't get a helleva lot of common sense. I abhor the very idea that we have to listen to Dog Ducey or anyone else make excuses for why our kids are nearly last in the nation for what they receive in classroom funding. What kind of people live in this State? Don't we have the same kind of kids that live in states like Connecticut or Massachusettes where they cherish the principles of child education? Why are we so different? And if we want our kids to have the same opportunities then why the hell aren't we kicking the Republicans from the top 'DOG" on down out of power?

Re: “Prop 123 is a "First Step"? Let's Pretend "First Step" Means What Ducey Wants Us to Think It Means

The key question is.....can the three years buy us enough time to get rid of the republicans and pray that a sane legislature will come in to fund education in the fourth year? We take Ducey at his word thats why we're not thinking past 3 years. We can't even think past tomorrow so screwed up the priorities of this state are.

Re: “ALEC Gives Arizona an 'Economic Outlook' Magic Pony Award

Very funny why am I crying? Everyone this year is caught up in the National elections for President and Congress. Don't look now; but thats not where dark money is being spent. Koch money is going to local campaigns and to shore up right wing Republican legislatures and their tone deaf Governors; all of whom are bought and paid for by Koch money and kept in line by ALEC. Koch runs states like Burghers used to run their fiefdoms in Poland. This Country is heading for a government of fiefdoms, cantons, them whatever you will......but they no longer low tow to anything that the Federal Government legislates. In fact; these fiefdoms don;t even necessarily act according to Supreme Court decisions. Bernie Sanders was right. A revolution starts from the bottom up. Koch knew that to nbe true years ago or why even start a group like ALEC? Unless the Democratic Party invests a helleva lot of money into State and local elections; their winning the White House will not affect the continuation of the loss of freedom in every Republican run State. Arizona is a perfect example of how one can regress to another era in time even as the national electorate elects progressives to National offices.
