The Velvet Freakout
A show and sale of original and private-collection velvet paintings takes place from 5 to 10 p.m., Friday, June 25, through Sunday, June 27, at Café Passé, The Wooden Tooth and Ventana Gallery, which are located from 415 to 417 N. Fourth Ave. The opening reception at 5 p.m., Friday, June 25, features wine-tasting and music by DJ Carl Hanni and the JazzPhones. Swanky attire is encouraged. Free.
