The Tucson Philosophy Group - Platonist and Neoplatonist Poets Discussion

When: Mon., Sept. 8, 7-8:30 p.m. 2014

There are a number of celebrated Platonist and Neo-Platonist poets. Plato had a significant influence on a number of poets, e.g., John Donne, W.B. Yeats and Ezra Pound. A paradox given Plato's view “there is an old quarrel between philosophy and poetry.” To be discussed at the meeting.
