The Fluffy Movie

Nicknamed “Fluffy” because of his considerable weight, Gabriel Iglesias is a competent comedian who, for the most part, works a clean room. Yeah, he’s funny, but so’s the wacky guy in the Cox cable commercials if you haven’t had enough coffee yet. Clad in his trademark Hawaiian shirt, in front of a cheeseball replica of the Golden Gate Bridge, Fluffy tells jokes on traveling to India (Hey, it’s like Mexico!), buying his son a cellphone (Whatever happened to Nintendo?) and being hit on by a gay man (I was drunk, but not that drunk!) The only time Fluffy ever mines gold is a bit on reuniting with his long-last father after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. It’s a strong piece, and I wish Fluffy could have kept it going. Tommy Chong shows up in a useless prologue to lend some credibility. Save this one for the eventual Comedy Central airing.

The Fluffy Movie is not showing in any theaters in the area.
