Student Reading and Poetic-Objects Sale
A poetry-objects craft sale benefits the libraries of Tucson High School and Miles Elementary School from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1. High school student Samantha Neville perform poems, and her own Spanish translations of poems, by Emily Dickinson. Also featured are "After Emily" cakes by local culinary artists. The event is one of several Emily Dickinson events organized by Kore Press with the support of the National Education Association program "The Big Read."
