A prank goes very wrong, and sorority sisters pay the price in yet another worthless horror movie. Nobody of consequence stars in this sad remake of The House on Sorority Row, in which college students get mutilated in increasingly dull ways. About the only good thing about this movie is the sight of Carrie Fisher brandishing a shotgun and stirring things up. Other than that, it’s just a parade of dull actresses and actors putting themselves in endlessly stupid situations. It is void of creativity and good humor, and its overall effect is depressing. I like a good horror movie, but Hollywood isn’t serving many up lately, with Halloween II, The Final Destination and this piece of junk—and Saw VI is just around the corner.
