Sharing Teaching Artist Resources Tour

A professional-development and networking opportunity to connect Arizona teaching artists and educators takes place from 3 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 21. Workshops from 3 to 4:30 p.m. include "Cultural Competency and Community Engagement" by Paul Fisher; "Tucson's River of Words Program: Literacy, Dance and Water Conservation" by Kimi Eisele; and "Community Arts Dialogue: Community-Based Facilitation and Mediation Techniques" by members of PRO Neighborhoods. A panel discussion titled "Arts. Civic Engagement. Community: Partnership, Practice and Impact" takes place from 4:45 to 6 p.m., followed by a reception and networking event at the Tucson Pima Arts Council (100 N.
