Christian music-video director and producer Steve Taylor IV uses the movie medium to showcase Christianity as a boundless entity that unites the entire social and economic spectrum by providing helping hands instead of a personalized check. Taylor achieves this through his fictionalized story of two pastors who have only their faith in common. Ethan is a white, media-hungry minister in designer suits who also performs Christian rock music during sermons. Needing a lesson in humility, Ethan and his alter ego, The Rock, move to the inner city to combat urban decay. There, he meets Jake, a street-smart and tough-as-nails African-American pastor who works with Ethan to help the pregnant teens, drug dealers and gang bangers. Although this film is predictable and clichéd, its nonetheless inspiring and worth a second chance.
