Roundup and Open House at Historic Empire Ranch
Experience the cowboy life in a showcase of more than 100 presenters at the historic 22-room adobe ranch house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2; $10 per car includes a wagon ride. Events include Western music, cowboy skills exhibitions, the Tombstone Ghost Riders Mounted Shooters, cavalry re-enactors, living history storytellers, horse and cattle demonstrations, and a working display of Lipizzan horses. Workshops for kids and adults teach horsehair-braiding, wood-branding, leather-carving and other cowboy arts. Cowboy food and coffee are for sale.
