People will often insist on believing people like Bakker and or information that they either want to believe or that simply furthers their own personal agenda. We've all probably said and done stupid things but insisting on being consistently stupid is a whole other lifestyle choice.

$1000 divided by 12= about $83 each. They sound closer to pressed masonite.

    Re: “Redington Blues
Several of my friends, including myself own firearms and used to go up to the Redington area for target practice. We also very much enjoyed the off road trails that were there to ride our quads. We also took 5 gal buckets to collect not only our own shells but hundreds of other people's shells and debris left there by previous shooters. It amazed us that people left so much trash behind. I've done quite a bit of hiking up there as well. One day I hiked to the ponds near the 10 mile marker and noticed hundreds of shot gun shells along with shell and donut boxes laying around by the ponds. I couldn't figure out what the hell they were shooting at until I noticed all the frog carcasses floating in the pond. I was appalled. One day while my friends and I were up in the area one cool and very pleasant morning, again for target shooting, we began having a conversation about all the garbage left behind by campers and shooters. We wondered if a hand full of jerks were keeping very busy leaving their crap behind or if there were dozens upon dozens of clueless people that just didn't give a shit about what they were doing to the desert. Then the issue of the lead came up. One person remarked that there must be tons of lead laying around in the dirt all over the area. Another point was raised that some of this lead may be ending up in the Tanque Verde creek. We also began to wonder if there were some down stream wells that would be effected in places like 49'ers Country Club as well as homes along Woodland Avenue along by the creek south and west of Catalina Highway. One of us remarked that if the Forest Service ever took notice, Redington would be shut down for shooting and we kind of hoped it would. Ever since that conversation we haven't gone back to shoot. I could recount a lot of experiences where I and others have noticed and were appalled by some very bad behavior up there including individuals and groups of people that were making it a somewhat dangerous area to ride and hike around at times.

Well, it would seem that there may be someone lying here. I wonder if the author of this article ever observed exchanges in the classroom himself? But, perhaps Casper is lying?
I tend to become suspicious when I hear terms like "Mexican Haters" thrown around so liberally as this author seems to prefer doing. He managed to hold my attention and concern for the truth until that term became a dominant theme and support for his position.
