Thanks for sharing with US. You gave me some insight into one of my best friends that I didn't know before. I am still at a loss every day. Instead of visiting your Dad I have a big hole in my day and in my heart.
Recent road improvements this Summer has been nothing short of amazing. In a few weeks time, Swan, Craycroft, Sunrise and parts of hacienda del Sol ands Pontatoc have all been resealed/ paved. This process costs less than new paving but works well and its quick and efficient. I am impressed. I don't know if they are done or more to come. But it was done in the Summer with minimal disruption to traffic considering the extent of the repairs. So I vote to give them the money to continue.
Also, the last part of this article talks about $430 billion in repairs. Shouldn't that be $430 million?
Bambi sounds glorified in this article. Wel, the characters there are. The writer makes reference to the "smoking area". It's almost the entire place. Despite State regulations, patrons smoke with one foot inside the bar and the smoke goes straight in. When I complained, the bartender told me to leave. Then I got hit in the head by an errant pool ball. So, I left. I'll stick to the Mint or Shelter. Both have separate smoking areas and are much cleaner. Too bad, The Bambi used to be OK. But then so was 10's.
