Maybe instead of going to the Pima County Republican Party's webpage which is notoriously irrelevant and unmaintained, or the opponent, for information on a candidate, you should do some research such as go to the candidates webpage. Why, here it is now: https://www.keithbeeforjp.com/about
You would see that he does indeed have an applicable college degree as well as other jurisprudence training even at the age of twenty-one. You would find a photo that clearly does not portray his father, as well as, an absolutely clear statement that he is Keith Bee II (not his dad.)
As for Mr. Taylor and his new found zeal for being a Republican, here is my response (and no, I am not a relative):
Anymore, our court systems are Of the lawyers, by the lawyers and for the lawyers! Most of the judges in the court system are appointed by lawyers and reviewed by lawyers.
The Justice of the Peace office is different. It is the common persons opportunity to choose their own people of character to sit in judgement over them to decide what is right or wrong and what is fair. That is why the requirements do not include expensive schooling or long court careers. It is more about character than credentials to us little people. Yes, vote for a young man who has spent his twenty-one years growing up in a hardworking family under the teaching of his father who has been an outstanding Justice of the Peace. Why is that a bad thing to a criminal defense attorney?
Stand up for real people instead of high priced attorneys. Read Douglass own description of what he has been doing, taken from the webpage listed here: https://dougtaylorlaw.com/about-douglas-taylor
I focus and specialize in representing clients in primarily misdemeanor and felony DUIs, felony and misdemeanor Domestic Violence cases, drug cases, theft, shoplifting, burglary, and robbery, assault and aggravated assault, criminal driving on suspended license, minor in possession of alcohol, white collar crimes, fraud, fraudulent schemes and artifices, disorderly conduct, prohibited possessor and other gun offenses, dangerous crimes against children (DCAC) cases (e.g., child abuse, child neglect, sexual misconduct, etc.), homicide (1st and 2nd degree murder, negligent homicide), kidnapping, sex offenses, prostitution, trespass, criminal damage, arson, theft of means of transportation (auto theft), forgery, credit card fraud, false statements, false reporting and perjury, organized crime and terrorism, computer tampering, money laundering, postal offenses, alien smuggling, illegal re-entry, drug smuggling, bribery, interference with judicial proceedings (violations of protective orders and injunctions), witness tampering, animal offenses (animal cruelty, animal neglect, no food/water cases, etc.), harassment and stalking, explosives and illegal weapons, concealed carry cases, gambling, excessive medical marijuana growth, sale, transfer, possession and sales of marijuana, meth, heroin, other narcotics, cocaine, drug paraphernalia cases, obscenity, contributing to dependency/delinquency of a minor, to name just a handful of the types of cases that I am competent, skilled and experienced at handling.
Now ask yourself, if this is what he has been doing and making a lot of money at, why is he wanting to take a big drop in pay to take on a job that doesn't even require his law degree from a Washington state college? I have had enough of Doug Taylor's campaign of insults and diminutive terminology. If Mr. Taylor has character to run on for a judge position, then let's see some of it instead of constantly demeaning someone that he doesn't think of as being as important as a human being as himself. Run on your own merit Mr. Taylor instead of playing the bully.
