Re: “Danehy

Allen P ... the former family members and ex-friends turned on me, when they voted for tRump, who is methodically destroying much of what is very important to me. Bolstering the 'for profit' health care industry, liquidating public land, reversing environmental protection, cutting public school funding, and a long list of other attacks on government policies that help people. Government is not bad. There are many policies that benefit the majority of people in the United States. tRump is the one who fooled voters. His lies are legion. Our children should note just how devious this sonofabitch is and how he has destroyed the United States standing in the world.

Re: “Danehy

Mr. Danehy wrote another outstanding column. I agree 100% about talking to the fools who voted for tRump. In fact, I disowned family members who did and withdrew from friendships, some decades long, with idiots who voted for the rotten sonofabitch tRump. The cult of ignorance leads to completely mistaken opinions and votes that are so far fetched, only the ignorant could possibly believe them ... like thinking tRump is going to help anyone other than the rich get richer, particularly himself and his spawn.

Re: “RIP, Author and Activist Kathryn Ferguson

The disrespect toward Kathryn Ferguson exhibited by some of these comments is disgusting. She is a wonderful author who contributed greatly to humanity.

Re: “RIP, Author and Activist Kathryn Ferguson

Sad, sad news. I met Kathryn Ferguson for the first time at the Tucson Herpetological Society booth at the Tucson Festival of Books last month. She autographed a copy of The Haunting of the Mexican Border for me. This is a major loss for everyone who loves La Frontera.

Re: “Carmona Takes The Gloves Off

The Pima County Sheriff's office has a history of corruption. Way back, a Sheriff Martin was accused of participating in the operation of whore houses. Not so long ago, Sheriff Burr's management nearly led to a shoot out among deputies. Now this. Sounds like it's still the wild west with a bad sheriff in charge today. Given Dr. Carmona's information, it's clear that Mr. Napier is the choice for voters.

Re: “What's Behind Tucson's International Wildlife Museum?

JoJoHolzel, spin the slaughter any way you want. The fact remains that the killers hold their conventions at the Dead Animal Museum. Predator Masters, for example, held their national convention at the Museum. These are the ass holes, like McElroy, who go out and kill as many animals as they can in one day and give each other prizes for the highest number of kills. This type of activity is extremely detrimental to the biological diversity of the deserts around Tucson. The Museum is a blight on Tucson and on Southern Arizona. I would like to verify your allegation about "natural causes". I do not believe you.

Re: “US Fish & Wildlife: Jaguar El Jefe, Other Endangered Species in Santa Ritas Will Survive Despite Rosemont Copper Mine

DIRKY, you are making up stuff. China? One of the least polluted? Ha!! That's why the Chinese wear air filters to go outside, huh? Least polluted my ass, you fool. Environmental laws have cleaned up a lot in the United States, and you are one of the beneficiaries of those laws. The proposed Rosemont Open Pit Copper Mine is a noxious project that must not be allowed to go through. I am sending as much money as I can to the groups that will sue to help fund lawsuits to halt this lousy boondoggle.
