I sold out and left Tucson for Flagstaff in mid 2010. But my heart is still in the Sonoran Desert. I'm currently trying to sell the idea of Free Baja Arizona to our friends up here.

Re: “You Were Wondering Who Same Sex Marriage Hurts? This Woman, That's Who

Right, I am sure that everything said by someone's ex is 100% true, always. Especially when the split is so clearly amicable and not at all related to the political issue being discussed above.

Re: “Is The Ku Klux Klan Making a Come Back... in Tucson?

Come on Weekly, you actually posted a link to those douchebag's website? You do know that this how they get ranked on search engines right? At least make potential members (and the morbidly curious I suppose) do their own damn searches!

Re: “Rep. Brenda Barton: Obama Is a Lot Like Hitler

How have people not heard of Godwin's Law at this point? Even so, let's go over some of the key differences between Barack Obama and Adolf Hitler:

Obama burst onto the political scene by giving a well received speech about the need for unity and having wishy washy hope for the future and love for your neighbors. He then wrote a book detailing the same hippy love bs, four years later he was elected president in a democratic vote which he won by a substantial majority. His two terms have since been like Clinton on hardcore mode, with the Republican opposition being even more nasty and partisan then they were in the 90s.

Hitler on the other hand charged into a beer hall with a machine gun with the plans to give a rousing speech with the intent of using the mob's anger to instigate a Mussolini-like coup and to size power by force. When that failed he got sent to the big house wherein he wrote a popular memoir detailing every person he hated and wanted to "get rid of," and his glorious war plans for Germany's future. Flash forward to a few years later where his party used paramilitarism, false flag attacks, and brute force to cause the Weimar Republic to cede control to him. He then immediately started consolidating his power, and murdered the living hell out of his political rivals and opponents (brownshirts, the commies and the unionists) and drove the survivors into exile. Once this was done he then turned his attention to certain undesirable social groups, and you know the rest of the story from there.

Now if you read these two paragraphs and you noticed the similarity in that they both wrote popular books before they were in office, and therefore they are one & the same; you might just be a little too retarded to vote, much less get elected to office, or hold any job that requires a high school diploma.

Re: “One-Star Amazon Reviews of Literature Classics Prove That You Just Can't Please Everyone

I am a big C.S. Lewis hater myself, but that is mainly because I find the religious morality so blatantly pushed by his books to be cheap and intellectually demeaning to the target young adult audience. The best example of this would be the way the character Susan turned out in The Last Battle: (SPOILER!) so the girl is no longer right with God, oh sorry, Aslan & Narnia because she grew up and developed an interest in boys, and starting caring a lot about her appearance?
