Re: “The Skinny

AVL-You got the $61, 872, 366 from Ally's website. I didn't notice any proof on there either. But we'd all be happy to see your's.

Re: “Democrats Luckier Than Education in 2017 City-Wide Elections

Watson may have had a better chance if the GOP hadn't abandoned him. This is a perfect example of why the GOP can't put Republicans in city offices-they either can't find candidates (see Ward 5), put forward Fox News talking point ditto heads (Ward 6), or abandon moderate politicians that actually may win (Ward 6). The last few GOP candidates to win a Mayor or Council seat-Walkup, Rondstat, Dunbar and before that Murphy and Laos. All moderates. And VietnamVet2-its Marx, Karl (with a K) Marx. I learned that during my indoctrination at a TUSD school.

Re: “Your Indispensable Back-To-College Guide

Here's how the items on the list would've read when I was a freshman at the UA from 76 to 81. The following items would read pretty much the same: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 13, 15, and 16. The following items would read differently: 8. Goodwill and the Salvation Army were pretty much your only choices, 11. We'd still go to the Loft but it was on 6th Street and Fremont (now a parking garage), 14. Student Union, 2nd floor, east end had big chairs and sofas and of course the top floor of the Main Library, 17. We'd go to the Student Health Center at Cherry and University (now the Sonett Space Sciences Bldg.) because it was free, 18. No one cared about your mental health. And items that weren't a thing back then-2, 7, 9, and 10.

Re: “Arizona's Un-Credential. Is It the Beginning Of the End Of Teaching As a Profession?

jhuppent@hotmail.com. Do you have any non-biased sources for your claims? Or are you just pitching out numbers to back up your desire to cripple public education? And where is that Florida study? Here's one that disagrees (assuming your's exists): thttps://www.teachingquality.org/sites/default/files/11_doescertificationmatter.pdf

Mumford P. Where did you get your ranking number? If not in the link you supplied. Here's one that actually does. http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/01/05/cali…
