There should be a realistic component to responses here. In a world, where there are less humans, dogs could run wild. Running wild makes dogs sane. They learn from other dogs how to behave. They end up lying in yards where there are water sources. Now, we have dogs trapped in houses, trained to attack...they're just dogs. They are not the extension of your male parts, they are not your children. Come to PACC. Find a good dog (99 percent chance you will) and stop bellyaching about mistreatment.

PACC is not the enemy. People who hoard animals, dump them on the sides of the roads, and buy animals from breeders pave the path to PACC's door. If any people are upset, I beg them to come to PACC, at 7:00 am, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Volunteer to walk some dogs, sit with some cats. Put your time where you anger is.
Thank you for publishing Ted Williams' article regarding the Center for Biological Diversity. I worked for the National Audubon Society for ten years, and submitted a resume to CBD. I asked the lady who interviewed me over the telephone if CBD had any scientists on board. The answer was "no."
It is a disappointment to discover that organizations parading as environmental soldiers are actually just raking in cash by filing cases, not against BP, not against Massey Energy, but against the EPA.
CBD is headquartered in Tucson. This is one company we do not need. It would be different if a company were straight-forward corrupt, but drawing in suckers like me by posing as earth-friendly is unconscionable.
You left out one part: Sen. Antenori believes that rabbits and raccoons are preditory "varmints" that must be hunted at night. But, not by jacklighting, just subtle lighting that would allow the hunter to spot and kill his prey. I tried to draw a diagram of this on the dust of the window on my truck, and my finger fell off.
90% of energy in the US is generated by coal. Coal companies blow off mountaintops in eastern Kentucky, and blow up flat land in western Kentucky. Many trees are killed in the process. What do you think powers your laptop? Where do you think the batteries which run your laptop that die every few months are buried? Have you thought about going to the library? It's a wonderful invention. There, books can be obtained after your neighbor has read them. It is a remarkable system. You go in, get a card, and you can be lent a book. It does not have to be reprinted.
