Re: “Media Watch

Interesting format for KWCX, considering that most of the demographic in that area are farmers and ranchers. I remember when the KWCX hit the air in 1975 or 1976. It was a big thing for Willcox at the time.

Re: “Danehy

All I want to know is if the author of the article--Tom Danehy--is the same Tom Danehy who was Sports Editor of the Douglas Daily Dispatch in 1975. Anyone have the answer?....

Re: “Troop Support

Barber said the decision "allows the beliefs of corporations to trample the rights of employees, especially the rights of women. All employees—men and women—must be free to make their own health care choices with their doctors and without interference from their employer. I will continue fighting to protect the right of all women to make their own health care decisions."

How is this LIE still being passed around? The SCOTUS decision on the Hobby Lobby case does NOT prevent women from making health choices at all; the decision simply allows corporations to decide not to pay for abortion-inducing drugs. That's it. Women still have access to whatever contraceptions they want. It's just that they will have to pay for certain ones out of their own pocket. That's not restricting access; that's personal responsibility. BTW, Mr. Barber, if employees really could make health-care decisions without interference from the employer, we wouldn't be concerned about what the insurance company would pay for and what the co-pay is and what the deductible is.
