Push

This sci-fi thriller is not half bad, despite a convoluted plot and the fact that Dakota Fanning is playing a gun-toting psychic with a taste for alcohol. Cassie is a “watcher,” someone with the power to see the future. She partners up with Nick (Chris Evans), a “mover,” a person who can, well, move things. Together, they try to defeat the Division, a government sector out to create its own personal army of superheroes. Eventually sniffers, shadows and pushers get thrown into the already complicated mix; just sit back and enjoy the ride, and don’t think about it too much.

Push is not showing in any theaters in the area.
