WEIRD! I'd rather go to the original in Bisbee......

Re: “Serraglio

Thanks Randy. Being disabled (and about to embark on a cross-country flight), I am reminded why I haven't done so in several years.

Re: “Serraglio

Such a relief to read. This kind of makes up for all the fear mongering that Leo Banks stirs up. The biggest problem I see is that while Randy's factual article is in the opinion section, Leo's opinions and exaggerations get passed of as news. It's time the Weekly gets its act together and starts printing facts about life along the border.

Re: “Guest Commentary

JoeS, I have to wonder why you were reading something in the opinion section?! You are guaranteed to find opinions there.

Great article. I feel the same way. Thank you.

Re: “Mailbag

Thanks for printing my comments. I realize however, that my second to last sentence might need some clarification. Please replace with the following: How about some interviews with people who aren't ranchers or hill-hiding hermits? These are the people who Banks likes to interview. Does he target these groups or does he just throw out interviews from people with opposite opinions from his own? Either way, I implore the Tucson Weekly for better coverage of this issue.

Re: “The Krentz Bonfire

I'm one of the bird watching lefties and there is no way that I am going out with anything but binos and water. Taking a gun bird watching is stupid and dangerous. It just asks for trouble . Krentz's guns didn't help him at all.

I've been reading these articles by Mr. Banks for the last couple of years, but they only seem to represent the opinion of the conservative fringe. How about some interviews with non ranchers or hill-hiding hermits?....you know, sensible Portal folk who aren't scared to go outside.
