WHO POOPED IN THE TRAILER PARK?
WEST WETMORE ROAD
DEC.12, 12:02 P.M.
Someone stole numerous electric meters from a trailer park, and the park's manager believes the thief also left something behind—a plastic bag filled with feces—according to a Pima County Sheriff's Department report.
The manager told a deputy that eight to 10 electric meters had recently been stolen from various lots on the property, perhaps for the relatively valuable copper wire inside them.
The manager tied the burglaries to a series of other incidents at the park in which someone had left plastic grocery bags filled with poop near the sites of the electric meter thefts. The manager said she suspected that the pooper was living in a shed near the park.
The deputy located the shed's owner, who said she rented her backyard shed to a man who might be the pooper because the shed had no bathroom.
The deputy told the shed's owner that neither she nor her renter were allowed on the trailer-park property and that she must tell her renter not to throw bags of feces onto the property, either. She agreed.
THERE'S A CRACK IN HIS STORY
WEST VALENCIA ROAD
DEC. 5, 3:05 P.M.
A man was busted for pot possession after his pants kept falling down as he walked along Valencia Road, supposedly for his health, a PCSD report said.
A deputy met with a homeowner who said a young man had been lurking around his property and "kind of looked like he was trying to hide or was maybe looking for someone." The homeowner said the man's "pants kept going down to where he was practically exposing his backside."
The deputy found the man, who explained that before getting his daughter from school, he liked to walk up and down Valencia to "keep healthy."
Another deputy arrived on scene and confirmed that the man had a warrant out for his arrest. (The man said he'd been "in the hospital" and may have missed some court dates.) Then, telling the deputies that he wanted "to be honest" with them, the man pulled a bag of marijuana from his pocket. Deputies took him to jail.
