According to a University of Arizona Police Department report, a student told university officials that his roommate threatened to "use a shotgun" on him if he didn't clean his side of the dorm room.
During a meeting with Officer Pickrom and the hall director, the student said his roommate made similar threats earlier in the semester, the student told officers.
When police met with the roommate, he denied ever threatening the student and said it was a joke. Officers searched the room and didn't find any weapons.
The student told officers he didn't want to press charges, but he did want the incident documented. UA Residence Life has moved the students to separate rooms in different residence halls, the report stated.
Food Stamps
West Valencia Road and South Mission Road, Sept. 9, 8 a.m.
A Tucson woman told deputies that while going through the food-stamp application process, a Department of Economic Security employee exposed his penis and asked if he could rub her breast, a Pima County Sheriff's Department report stated.
According to the report, the woman told deputies that she went to the Valencia DES office, 3000 W. Valencia Road, and met with the male employee. He reviewed her application and referred her to another employee who could help her with the next step of the application process. But before she left his office, he told her that she needed to come back and talk to him before going home, the report stated.
The woman told deputies that when she returned to his office, he pulled out his penis and said, "This is an advantage for you getting food stamps." He then allegedly asked if he could rub her breast, the report stated.
The woman left his office immediately and went to a relative's house. The DES employee tried to call the woman about four times since the incident, she told deputies.
Deputies documented the incident; the woman has moved and changed her phone number.
A Dance to Remember
West Valencia Road and South Mission Road, Oct. 3, 11:57 p.m.
According to a Pima County Sheriff's Department report, a fist fight broke out at a Tucson bar after a man asked a woman to dance.
A witness told Deputy S.A. Lamson that she was inside Famous Sam's, 3010 W. Valencia Road, when she saw a man approach a woman and ask her to dance. Another man saw this, approached the victim, yelled at him and then punched him in the head.
The victim fell to the ground, and the man and another bar patron ran out and drove away.
Deputies could not find anyone in the area who matched the suspects' descriptions.
