Pecan Festival, Pecan Classic and Nut Run
An 8.5-mile run, a 3.7-mile run and a family-friendly 1.5 mile run take place at 8 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 12; $35. Everyone gets a shirt, and all participants in the fun-run get ribbons. Register at taggrun.com. The event kicks off the Sahuarita Pecan Festival, which celebrates the culture, cuisine and music of the Santa Cruz River Valley, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; free.
