Re: “Senate Showdown

People in LD 30 need to wake up and pay attention. The incumbent is not representing the interests of the people in his district. He grandstands and boasts about how he'll take on the federal government when he is simply a STATE senator. We need someone who will truly listen to our concerns AND go to Phoenix to fix the real problems. Help get the message out that we have an alternative in Todd Camenisch who has truly considered what it will take to make Arizona a better place for all of us.

Re: “Fighting Words in the Antenori-Camenisch Race

This is not the first public forum Antenori has "boycotted" - I want to see Camenisch have an opportunity to present his views in a public setting as we already have the legislative record of his opponent - anti-education, anti-small business and focused on silly bills about light-bulbs. Camenisch has real solutions - go to his website for more details. www.vote4todd.com

Re: “Hey, GOP: Is This a Setup?

How are we suppose to truly understand the positions of any candidate unless they present their views in a public setting? I find out more about a candidates views from seeing and listening to a "debate" or a forum. Why are the Republican candidates not using these events to allow their constituents access to their ideas? I believe in being an informed voter and it is getting much harder to find out what is real and what is a controlled message. I want face time in a public setting please!!

Re: “Races to Watch

Community forums are great venues to hear from the candidates on issues that concern all of us. I wonder why the current Republicans are NOT attending some of these especially those on education?? What are they afraid of? I know Anternori has not attended at least 2 education forum where he would have discussed this crucial issue with Todd Camenisch. There is a scheduled education forum on October 29th at Catalina Foothills HS featuring Superintendents of Public Instruction, LD26 and LD 30 house and senate candidates. Will all the candidates be present? The public deserves to hear from everyone who wants to hold public office.

Re: “SB 1070 Fallout: Spin on Sound Strike

Why is our state rep concerned about a boycott by musicians? What does he mean by his decisions are made by the right thing to do? Doesn't he continually push for less government intervention? I have not seen or heard much from Frank Antenori regarding real, wide-reaching proposals to help get AZ back on track both in terms of economic and educational needs. We need to change partners in LD 30 - check out a new face :

Re: “Danehy

Thank you - thank you - thank you! Finally, someone has succinctly defined the real "problem" with education in AZ.
