Re: “Rush Limbaugh Not a Fan of Ribbons for Rep. Giffords

My latest discovery--a bit OT, but intriguing. Compare the audiences of Rush Limbaugh and NPR:

http://www.quantcast.com/rushlimbaugh.com
http://www.quantcast.com/npr.org

Note that the green bar graph is the most revealing, provided you understand that an index of 100 (the green bar on the right) indicates a site’s audience is equivalent to the demographic make-up of the total internet population. Any increase over 100 means that the property is “over indexed” and attracts a more concentrated group of a particular demographic group than in the general. internet population.

The punchline? OVERWHELMINGLY, Rush's audience is OLD, OLD, OLD...and CHILDLESS!

And check out the right-hand column, too: what other media the audiences use. Great for a laugh on the intellectual bent of the Rush audience vs. the NPR one (that Palm Beach News would even appear on the list tells you a lot right there!).
