New: San Carlos Grill

San Carlos opened two months ago at 3156 E. Fort Lowell Road (formerly Cocoyaya). This is San Carlos' second location; the first is at 1370 N. Silverbell Road, No. 180. The restaurant serves classic breakfast (served all day), soups, burros, soft tacos, chicken molé, enchiladas, steak and seafood dishes; 881-0048.


Rocco's Turns 10

Rocco's Little Chicago celebrates its 10th anniversary throughout December. Stop by for $1 Old Style beer and $10 bottles of cabernet sauvignon; lasagna and other pasta specials will be featured daily. Get a large pizza with your choice of one topping for $10, and try the new homemade apple-pie dessert pizza. Gift certificates, T-shirts and other prizes will be given away on Dec. 31.
