Do you eat cereal for dinner? At the Cereal Boxx, Tucson's first cereal café, you can arrive in your pajamas, watch cartoons with your family, then eat assorted bowls of cereal with yummy toppings. Also on the menu are frozen bananas, yogurt parfaits, homemade granola and cereal bars, complemented by an espresso bar. Food Fight on May 1

Join Dan Imhoff, author of Food Fight: The Citizen's Guide to a Food and Farm Bill joins Dr. Andrew Weil and Scott Johnson (Defenders of Wildlife) to help Tucsonans better understand legislation that will use $90 billion in tax dollars for determining which crops are grown in what quantities, how much they cost and how healthy they are. Pizza Toss Wins Gold

Tucsonan Jamie Culliton won three medals at the World Pizza Games held at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas on March 20-22. Culliton will receive his culinary arts degree from Pima Community College this spring. After more than a decade of working for different pizzerias all over the country, he is undertaking a solo venture, the Pizzaiolo, a catering business that brings the pizzeria and an entertaining, acrobatic dough-tossing show to private parties and events. Celebrity Waiters Dinner, May 4

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society presents this fundraiser in memory of 16-year-old Carlos Valencia, who was unable to find a timely bone-marrow match, and also honors two decades of community service by George Birger. UA athletes will be the waiters. Money raised will fund a researcher at the UA and aid patient programs and education in Pima County.
