Chocolate Dinner Rolls
What a find! At first glance into the breadbasket, they look innocent, like whole wheat. But after you give them a light smear of soft butter, the surprising flavor of chocolate subtly explodes in your mouth, revealing one of the best bread baskets on the Tucson dining scene. Agave's executive sous chef, John Cahill, and pastry chef Stephen Jones were brainstorming when then-lead baker, Andy Du, mentioned that he used to make a steamed soft bun in Taiwan that was chocolate-flavored. After tweaking the recipe, the baked soft chocolate roll was born. Agave is located in the Desert Diamond Casino.

In-n-Out
Weekly reader Neal S. alerted us that the In-n-Out Web site finally lists the first Tucson location as coming soon. By the way, the address is 3711 E. Broadway Blvd. A few months ago, In-n-Out's planning department said it would open in the fall, but so far, actual construction has not yet begun.
