Chances Are It's BBQChances at Stone opened June 28 with a roaring '20s theme at the former Oasis Vegetarian Eatery. Chances serves Carolina-style barbecue using certified Angus beef, slow-cooked smoked meats and freshly baked breads. Owners Allan Cranford and Alfred E. Schmidt also own Road Kill Grill on the UA campus. The sprawling, 198-seat restaurant is across the street from the police department and adjacent to the Arizona Theatre Company.
