Zona 78 Stone Fired Foods

Just opened by two experienced locals--Tom Firth and Rick Fink--Zona serves handcrafted pizza, cedar plank salmon and smoked BLT on homemade pita bread, made with a wood-burning stone oven. They offer specialty salads with locally grown produce (no overdone Caesar salads here), authentic antipasto, Italian wines and seating for 120, including patio dining. 78 W. Benefit for Mount Lemmon Fire Department

On Oct. 18, Old Father Inn will host a benefit to help the Mount Lemmon Fire Department buy a new fire truck. Enjoy live bands day and night, discounted sandwiches (try the hot pastrami), good brews and a raffle with lots of prizes from area merchants. From 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. at 4080 W. Ina Road.
