I personally think that gun laws should be tailored to and decided by communities. I don't like them myself but understand that there are those who like to target shoot, hunt or just collect guns. However, a few gun advocates seem to have an all or nothing attitude. Could there be a middle ground. For example, why do private citizens need to own assault weapons? Should there be a requirment that gun owners show some understanding of safety practices and a degree of proficiency in using their weapons? Could there be a civil discussion that addresses concerns of both sides? What's the opinion of law enforcement who have to deal with the misuse of guns. I like Chris Rock's suggestion to charge $1,000 per bullet.

This is one of those times that I wish I could be registered to vote in two places. Not willing to give up my vote in Seattle yet but I wish you all well. I would expect more counties in Southern AZ to join in.
