Nine Questions

Born and raised in Tucson, Jericho Davidson has played in Chango Malo since 2001 and has been drinking every day since.Currently he is also playing drums in Bullet and is a founding member of the T.ucson S.peedo B.rigade. On his off days, Jericho can be found at the local shuffleboard parlor or watching The Empire Strikes Back on Telemundo in an effort to learn Spanish.

What was the first concert you ever saw?

Santana, at the Pima County Fairgrounds. I was 11. My mom's boyfriend got punched in the face and his tooth went through his lip. It was awesome and that's all I remember.

What CDs are in your changer right now?

Garboski, Bobby Pins and Beer Caps; Blues, Heavy Sci-Fi; the Avett Brothers, The Gleam II; Okkervil River, The Stand Ins; NormaJean, The Anti Mother.

How many total albums do you own (CDs, vinyl, cassettes, 8-tracks)?

800 CDs, 300 vinyl, and the Led Zeppelin catalog on cassette.

Both.

What was the first album you owned?

Too Short, Life is ... Too Short.

What song would you like to have played at your funeral?

Queen, "Princes of the Universe." The Highlander soundtrack always makes me happy.

Musically speaking, what do you love that your friends don't know about? What's your favorite guilty pleasure?

I love Top 40 rap: Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, T.I. This shit just speaks to me--"Everyday I'm Hustlin'."

What band or artist changed your life, and how?

Los Lonely Boys. They proved to me that no matter how hard I tried, some talentless group of assholes would always be more successful than me.

Figurative gun to your head, what is your favorite album of all time?

Bad Brains, Rock for Light ... I mean, Pixies, Doolittle ... I mean, Fugazi, Repeater ... oh shit, I mean Prince, Sign 'o' the Times. Fuck, does that mean I just got my figurative brains blown out?
