Nine Questions

If you've ever been to Che's Lounge, chances are you've crossed paths with Bob Friel. Born and raised in Rockaway Beach, N.Y., Friel spent his late teens and early 20s in the Los Angeles area--where he was witness to the burgeoning late '70s/early '80s punk scene and caught either the first or second Motley Crue show ever--before moving to Tucson in 1984. He currently works at Ace Rubber Stamps and Engraving, on Pennington Street in downtown Tucson.

What was the first concert you ever saw?
