Naturalist Programs

Programs are included in park admission; $5. All talks are wheelchair accessible. Call for reservations. Thursday, Jan. 9 and 16, at 2:15 p.m.: A geologist explains how the Tucson Mountains and Santa Catalina Mountains separated. Monday, Jan. 13, at 2:15 p.m.: "Puma: Predator, Prey and Peril," mountain lions and current threats to its their future. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m.: "Reptiles and Amphibians of the Sonoran Desert," volunteer naturalist Bob Brandner. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 1:15 p.m.: "Against All Odds," how saguaro cacti grow and thrive.
