Music, Food and Pet Fair

Music, food, face-painting and roaming magicians are featured from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5; free. The Tucson Symphony Orchestra Wind Quintet performs Pinocchio, a concert for children, at 10 and 11:15 a.m.; My 92.9 broadcasts live; and celebrity judges including Tucson City Council member Karin Uhlich and Pima County Supervisor Richard Elias award prizes in a pet show at 12:30 p.m. Across the street in Mansfeld Park, children can read to service dogs from Handi-Dog; meet a Tucson Police Department K9 unit; and get free dog biscuits for their canine friends. Animals must be leashed at all times; pick up after your pet. Bring something to sit on.
