Re: “Letter to the Editor: Support Education, Not Prop 123

Kyl mentions nothing about the fact that this negates Prop 301, negates the lawsuit when the state still owes money, the trigger that allows the legislature to decrease funding, etc... I am tired of this regime constantly suing us and imposing their will over the will and well-being of the citizenry. We pass Prop 123 we give up what little power we have to a group of folks that put themselves first and AZ last. No matter what happens, there will be a lawsuit since changes to the trust may not be allowed. Vote these folks out of office!

Re: “World View Lands $15 Million in Venture Capital Investment

Doesn't make sense to fund a company that will possibly diversify our economy with potentially higher paying jobs in the aerospace industry. Who cares if the company does research? Why are tax dollars going towards any economic development in AZ? Why are our tax dollars going towards a hockey team? Who cares that states like Nevada gave Tesla 1 billion to bring in jobs? It's better that we have more call centers and minimum wage jobs - only a small portion of our tax dollars go towards corporate welfare. I'm sure the yearly corporate tax cuts will draw businesses to a state that ranks last in education.

Re: “The Pleasure Activist

The problem with lube, other than messy, is that one should be cognizant of the body requiring additional help. If the body does not naturally secrete fluid, there may be medical reasons, etc. Lube is great as an assist but one should be aware of the changes in ones body.

Re: “TUSD Responds to Arizona Education Department Saying District's 'Culturally Relevant' Classes Violate State Law

Teaching racist what? How ignorant should we allow students to be?#@! Be realistic. The US is no longer a superpower and hasn't been for a long time. We are behind in so many areas it is embarrassing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with teaching history. Huppenthal is a racist as evidenced by his blog posts under various pseudonyms. Another embarrassment for the state. I guess ya'll believe that those that refused to support our current president and demanded his annihilation are also guilty of treason? Maybe you'd rather they teach history like the do in TX - slavery was voluntary, etc. This is the reason that we've lost control of our country and our lives. We think ignorance of things is a good thing and many of the comments above are evidence of that.

Sorry, as a woman, I couldn't possibly vote for this guy given that he continues to relegate my sex to second class citizenry :(

Re: “A New Day At Sunnyside Unified

In fact hiring lawyers to fight any lawsuit following Isquierdo's firing may actually cost the district less money ...
