Mars Strikes!
The Mount Lemmon SkyCenter at the summit of Mount Lemmon will offer viewing of Mars, including closer looks at the polar ice caps and large surface features, at events starting at 3:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29 and 30. There is no street address to the Mount Lemmon Sky Center, but directions are available at skycenter.arizona.edu/visinfo.html. Prices per day: $48 adults; and $25 for ages 7 to 18.
