I am a great grand daughter of Leopoldo Carrillo. I am very greatfull for all the hard work that has been done to replicate all the things my great grandfather invisioned. At the Carrillo House the fig tree is nearly 200 years old and is thought to be an original cutting from the Mission Gardens. The rare white pomagranate also planted there has such a rich sweetness like no other. I am very,very proud to be a descendent of Leopoldo Carrillo I too enjoy gardening. I thank you all for your wonderfull support and dedication and I hope and pray that we will see The Mission Gardens soon.
