Mapping Q, a program in collaboration with the UA Museum of Art and the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation's ALLY suicide prevention program, will exhibit the work of youth who've investigated language, symbols and images, and explored how to express their personal identities. The exhibit opened Wednesday, Dec. 3, but continues through Jan. 4, 2015 at the UAMA, 1031 N. Olive Road. On Tuesday, Dec. 9, there will be an educational panel and film screening, from 4 to 6 p.m., of "Put This on the Map," a short documentary about queer youth by queer youth living in Seattle's suburbs. The screening is free and open to the public, and will be followed by a panel of LGBTQ students from the UA and ALLY. K-12 and college level educators are encouraged to attend.
