Mad Money
This completely implausible, watered-down female version of Ocean’s Eleven does not come close to satisfying viewers. Proving that giving 120 percent isn’t always enough, Diane Keaton plays a wacky, newly hired janitor with shifty eyes at the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank. She recruits two more employees (Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes) to help her use laughably covert tactics to swipe stacks of bills destined for the shredder. Based on a British TV movie and directed by the writer of Thelma and Louise, Callie Khouri, this casual caper should be locked up.
