Re: “Off the Streets

We need 100,000 jobs for these people. Proven fact, if someone has to pay for something or work for something, they take better care of it. There is no mention anywhere as to who is responsible for the upkeep of these properties, paying the property tax if it is a house, paying the utilities, etc. Also, does anyone ever go check on these properties to make sure they are taking care of them and if they are not, are they evicted??? I know first hand about it, because i have one of these properties 3 houses down west of me and one 3 houses east of me. They don't cut their weeds, they go to the grocery store and steal shopping carts and leave them in their front yard, and numerous other city code violations. They have done nothing but run our property values down even more. Why is it that the people who come up with all these ideas want everyone else to pay for it when we can barely pay our own bills. They also never move these people in next door to them - why??? These people need jobs!!! My sister is a quadrapalegic and goes to work everyday to help suppport these people and they are in a whole lot better shape than she is. JOBS - not free housing is what we need!!!
