Every time I hear Vince Rabago speak I am liking him more and more for the job. Considering immigration will be such a hot button issue this election, I really like that he has personal and professional experience to draw from. It's so obvious when someone takes a couple trips down to the border then just mimics what a few officials told them over an hour-long lunch. We need an AG with both compassion for the people and devotion to the laws.
Both candidates do have strong experience on the "consumer protection" issue but I have a feeling that Rabago isn't using this race and office just to further his career up the chain. He seems very genuine in his passion for the AG's office.
Also, as a woman, I would love to see another woman in a state-wide seat, but they need to be the best person running for the job. I cannot see my self voting for a woman just because she is a woman. It is making this election a very hard choice for some people. I hope in the end the best PERSON wins, because that is what will move Arizona forward.
