I, too, appreciate it when 'real' readers and 'real' writers post here. Of course, I like to think that I am one of them, but when I read something like Luke's post here, I concede that I am a semi-reader and writer; nonetheless, I GET it. Thanks, Mr. Danehy, for, at the least, being well-written and interesting and, at the most, for bringing forth topics worthy of discussion.
I am so sad when people STEAL (not STILL....duh!) and when you LOSE (not LOOSE), yes, you often do it alone. Stealing is wrong. And it disappoints me when people think that for some reason it is okay to take from a 'mall' when, in reality, everyone who steals is stealing from each of us as our purchases reflect price increases because of theft. On a personal note, I hope that Martha will get some professional help to see why she made such foolish choices. Disappointed in her? YES. And, disappointed that anyone would relish an opportunity to rub salt in the wound.
What treat to open my email this morning to something other than a political diatribe from the amazing writer, Mr. Tom Danehy. I love the personal touches in this story as well as the informative presentation. As a musician, as the daughter of a musician, and the mother of two musicians, one can only dream of being remembered in even a remotely similar way. Thanks, Mr. Danehy.
The reason I subscribe to this 'paper' online is to read Tom's column. One of these days, however, I will branch out and check out the rest!
It doesn't matter on what topic Tom writes, it is ALWAYS entertaining. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his column and am guilty of reading ONLY his articles. Maybe I should branch out and see if anything else in this 'paper' is worthy? Maybe soon....
