Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector

Rated NR

This painfully amateurish and grotesque drivel forces the vengeful critic and unfortunate viewer to ask the almighty question: Why? Why did Lions Gate green-light director Trent Cooper’s lame, politically incorrect mess? Why do filmmakers still believe that explosive diarrhea and projectile vomit is at all amusing? Why are Joe Pantoliano and Joanna Cassidy committing career suicide by playing a sex-crazed mayor and a psychotic restaurateur, respectively? But most importantly, why is the brainless “Git-R-Done” title character being given a tortuous 89-minute movie? It can’t be because of the weak plot, involving a mysterious outbreak of food poisonings in snooty restaurants. That brings us back to the initial question: Why?
