La Lucha Sigue/The Struggle Continues
Commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Sanctuary Movement, the 25th anniversary of BorderLinks, and the 10th anniversary of Samaritans, a conference revisits the history of humanitarian aid and the need for widespread education about life on the U.S. Mexico border, from 1 to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30; and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1; $20. A concert features Francisco Herrera singing in both English and Spanish at 7:30 p.m., Friday; $20.
