Re: “Justice of the Peace Candidate Keith Bee II Talks About Judge Training

Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Adams, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, John Kennedy and so on. All career politicians. Term limits are a red herring, it's who you vote for in the first place that matters. Do that right and you'll have a good government.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Logic From Rudy

Personal opinion in the news. Yes, I've heard that. In fox entertainment for the last 30 years. I've also listened to right wing conspiracy theories on the radio since the early 60's. Some of my favorites. The PTA is a communist plot to take over America by brainwashing parents through the school system. Or, fluoride in the water is a communist plot to turn the American public into brainwashed sheep to follow orders from the Kremlin. But then, listening to trump followers lately, maybe that one was real. And yes, you can look them up, they were proudly broadcast by the Koch's John Birch Society. Oh, and BTW, preaching genocide and inciting violence against races or religions is a crime, not 'Free Speech'. Seems some have forgotten the difference.

Re: “Lefty Appeal

I remember Ike. When he decided to run he had to pick, D or R. He was a slight right of center moderate. Today, he would be considered a flaming, off the chart, liberal. 50 years of right wing political talk shows and fox entertainment's addition have done their job, pushing the idea of where the centerline is, to the 75 yard line. The crazy left, like Bernie Sanders would have just been called a liberal in the 60's. Murkowski and Collins, to far left of the republican party are both to the right of Barry Goldwater. Funny how that happened.

Re: “Claytoon of the Day: Trump Derangement Syndrome

While I do not agree with everything the Alphabet groups have done in our name, I like every other American also rely on them to protect my from the evils in the world. They exist and always have. Right this minute we are under attack and it seems that many here in the US are helping them. This we need to take care of in a timely manner without hindrance. For every 'bad' thing you could list, they have done maybe a hundred to protect you. Protecting our elections should be a top priority.

Re: “That's Not the Ann Kirkpatrick We Know

That's funny Paul, since republicans there are literally getting arrested, charged and convicted of fraud as we speak.

Re: “"Hey Buddy, Can You Spare $200 Million?" If Your Buddy Is the Walton (Walmart) Family, Then, Yes

Public schools worked just fine when we actually supported them, they helped build the largest middle class we had. Why aren't there as many super rich progressives? Maybe because they care more for the general welfare of the country and the world than their own self aggrandizement and worship of money and power? BTW, why do almost all right leaning comments have no real name or picture?

Re: “New Job, Same Boss? ADI Honcho Lori Hunnicutt Going To Work for Pima County Supe Ally Miller

Two items. 1: ADI wasn't the only outlet that reported the explosion. AZ Central for one did as well. 2: The cost to tax players was under 15 million dollars, for a company expected to bring in as much as 3.5 billion dollars to Pima County.
